Fall Lookbook (+video!)

Hello beauties,

Our youtube channel has been going strong over the past few days and I'm so excited to see it grow and welcome more viewers and subscribers. We hadn't done fashion on our channel since our first video basically, which was last spring, so we figured it was a great time to bring to you our favorite (early) fall looks.

Some of you might find these outfits too light, as they don't provide much coverage and warmth for those who live in colder countries. The weather in Greece was still quite warm at the time I filmed the video and it was afternoon so don't jump on me for wearing sleeveless tops and spaghetti strap dresses. It's been just a couple of days now that the weather has been leaning more on the chilly, autumnal side. There's a cool breeze in the air that calls for a light cover up.

However for those of you who still wanna draw inspiration from my looks I will give you some tips on how to make them warmer and cozier for those crisp fall days.

LOOK #1:

This look has been a go-to outfit for the past few weeks. I love mixing prints (see my mixed prints how-to here) and I really like the contrast of this red mini quilted bag against the black, white and blue combo. I would classify this look as a chic, girly and comfortable combo that works from day to night. TIP: add a pair of black opaque tights to make the contrast even bolder and a semi-trench to cover up.

LOOK #2

Plaid is prob the no1 trend at the moment and there's no better time to sport this preppy look than a fall daytime occasion. Perfect for college or school (minus the heels) or for a casual night out this ensemble isn't very complicated but looks polished enough without the fuss. TIP: add tights for a cozier look and a knit cardigan to give a strong back-to-school vibe!

LOOK #3

This one is the most sophisticated of them and all my friend Vasilia's favorite. This would've been a boring office look with a basic shirt, but the denim on denim effect takes this outfit to a new, modern level. I love the contrast of the white linen blazer against the denim and the blue heels add the perfect, much-needed pop of color. TIP: to transform this look for a night out, pair with a statement necklace that will add the necessary amount of glam to this office-ready outfit.

LOOK #4

This dress has been my fav over the summer and early fall days because of how comfortable and versatile it is. Wanna dress it up? Add a belt, statement earrings and heels. Wanna dress it down? add a leather jacket and sandals. You just have to be creative and think outside the box. The polka-dot print is one of my favorites, since it adds some sweetness to the look whereas the sexy heels and the layered necklaces glam it up. I feel this outfit ended up having sort of a boho feel, I guess because of the necklaces and cross-body suede bag. TIP: adjust it to colder weather by wearing a t-shirt or a lightweight turtleneck underneath, and that will be a look that won't go unnoticed.

  1. Outfits #3 and #4 are my favorites! #3 I love because I'm a huge fan of the denim-on-denim trend and I think that by adding the white blazer over the top, it gives it a really unique & chic feel to the look! #4 is such a pretty, dainty & feminine look, and the two-tone ankle strap heels are gorgeous!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
