Pale-tte:
Well, summer is a season of contrasts. Other collections focused more on its fun, bright, exciting spirit which they portrayed exceptionnally with a vibrant, funky, quirky palette and tons of prints and others offered the relaxation, the romance and the peace by toning it down, such as Valentino, Chanel, Versus and many more. Apart from the nude shades who still stand strong this season, more pales were added: our favorite mint (or as I like to call it, "pistacchio") color whose shades range from blue to green, girly pinks and light lemony colors which all together add up to a beautiful summery wardrobe.

Katy Perry is 'singing the blues' in "The One That Got Away" and having dyed her hair in a bright bold blue color she's just right in the spirit of the season. The designers seem to be in the same wavelength. So much blue this spring in every shade you can imagine, electric, royal, drawing inspiration from the sky and the sea, often embellished or printed, nothing can look fresher for summer. Erdem did it justice, by dressing the models with vintagey etherial floral dresses in the shades of blue and cream. Peter Pilotto did wonders once again with his glorious, futuristic prints in blue, black and white. Jason Wu used in florals but also left it untouched in a beautiful strapless midi gown in electric blue. Fendi and Marni used its paler side and made oneric creations, which looked like drawn from the clouds.
