Deep Purple

I know it took me forever to make a new post but here I am! My best friend Katie finally got herself a brand new gorgeous camera and we took some amazing pictures!

Okay, so this outfit was really one that love. I bought the skirt and the top just a few days ago and I got to wear them at Katie's birthday soiree. I love how they go together, plus the skirt is def one of my favorite pieces. I love the line and the shape, because it's not too tight or too loose, it is just the right fit and it makes me look taller. Plus, the color is so gorgeous I could wear it forever.

Now the top has an animal print but kinda subtle thanks to the color palette which doesn't make it look too jungle-like. I am not a big fan o leopard print in clothing, I think it looks kinda cheap and I don't do cheap :P (not in the meaning of inexpensive, in the meaning of ugly-looking: a thousand dollar dress can still look cheap)
Anyway, so this top goes with pretty much EVERYTHING and I love versatile items.

I forgot to say the whole look is from ZARA (my sweet home <3) except for the bag which is by Coach and the two-finger bow ring which is by Accessorize.

Animal insticts

1. Oh yes, the primitive style never fails to impress. Skins, leather, feathers, animal prints and -of course- fur are essential this fall. Just like every fall. Earthy tones but bright colors too 'dress' rich materials. For those who defend animal rights I guess it is not their favorite unless they would go 'faux' -which is not what I would suggest though-, for the trend savvy ones, it'll be an animal party! Wild Things

Ok, so in this one my main inspirations were the jungle, the Amazons but in more 2010-ish way, Kesha, animals, nature in a wild, primitive form. It feels dirty and sexy but not too provocative which is always my goal.
